First Impression and Reflection
The Idea of my Postcard came from my 7 square from the form of water. So, when I'm creating my mood board, I try to collect some photographs of nature and decided to make some nature related project. So after receiving feedback from one of my tutor Marc, he suggested to choose ecotourism critique as the theme for this project.
Research
As for the theme which is ecotourism critique, I started to do some research about it, is it a good thing or a bad thing, what does it give us, and what impact does it give to the environment. I did found some negative impact of ecotourism such as : It is damaging the environment near the site, many trees were cut down to make the site easier to reachable, also pollution from the transportation may cause damage to the environment.
I also did some research for the quoted text for my postcards. I try to find some quotes from pinterest and some of them inspire me when I'm making the text on my postcard.
Additional Research were also done during week 7, after I received another feedback from Eduardo about Art Deco Style postcards. I did my research at the UTS Library by looking some illustration in a book called "The Art Deco Poster".
As for the size of the postcard, first I was thinking to use an A6 paper but after some printing I realize that it was too small, so I decided to use an A5 paper to all.
